About Me

A life arranged around service.

The story behind the practice, and the conviction that holds it together.

01 · Origin

Personal Background

Born and raised in Oyo State, Lateefat was shaped early by a family that valued faith, learning, and quiet service. She grew up surrounded by women who solved problems for their neighbours before the state ever arrived, and that imprint never left her.

02 · Education

Educational Qualifications

She holds an LL.B (Hons.) from the University of Ibadan and was called to the Nigerian Bar following her studies at the Nigerian Law School, Abuja. She has since pursued continuing education in alternative dispute resolution, family mediation, and women's leadership.

03 · Practice

Legal Career

Over more than a decade in practice, Lateefat has built a reputation for meticulous advocacy in corporate, family, and property law, and for a calm, principled presence at the negotiating table. She believes that the best lawyering is preventive.

04 · Counseling

Counseling Journey

What began as informal conversations with friends and community members has matured into a structured counseling practice for pre-marital, marital, and family concerns, anchored on confidentiality, faith, and evidence-based tools.

05 · Politics

Political Vision

Lateefat enters public life convinced that Oyo State deserves leadership that listens first. Her platform centres youth empowerment, women's economic inclusion, access to justice, and accountable governance, built constituency by constituency.

06 · Service

Community Service

Through pro-bono legal clinics, mentorship for young women, and the Confidant Hour platform, she returns daily to her first conviction: that public life begins with private faithfulness.
